English1. Who we are
CDL Coach ("the App") is published by 卫智超 (Wei Zhichao) ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the App handles your information.
2. Information we process and where it is stored
The App is designed to work entirely on your device. The following are stored locally on your device only, using the operating system's standard local storage (UserDefaults):
- Study progress, answer history, and accuracy statistics
- Saved (starred) questions and wrong-answer review lists
- Mock-exam results
- Onboarding preferences (target module, plan length, daily goal, English level)
- On-device diagnostic events used to show your recent activity inside the App
This data never leaves your device. We do not operate any server or backend, we do not have accounts, and we cannot access this information.
3. Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting SDKs.
- We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not access the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- The App makes no network connections of its own.
4. Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's privacy policy. Purchase entitlements are validated on-device by the operating system.
5. Children's privacy
The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for general audiences. Because the App collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because all data is stored locally:
- You can clear your study data at any time using "重置进度 / Reset progress" inside the App (Profile tab).
- Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data.
7. Your rights
We do not hold any personal data about you on our systems, so there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on a server. If you have questions about privacy (including under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), contact us using the details below.
8. Changes to this policy
If we add features that change how data is handled (for example analytics, accounts, or cloud sync), we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information before releasing that change.
