Know which G string is installed
Standard high-G tuning is G4 C4 E4 A4, with the first G pitched above middle C. Low-G tuning uses G3 C4 E4 A4, placing the notes in ascending order. The C, E and A targets do not change; only the octave and suitable string for G are different.

Tune four strings with stable feedback
Select the correct GCEA mode, pluck one string while muting the others and wait for the stability indicator before moving on. After the first pass, repeat all four strings because tension changes can shift earlier readings. The app also includes a separate 6,829-fingering ukulele chord library.
