Acceptance and changes

Welcome to Pulse Diary (心跳日记) and its related services (“the Service”). Downloading, installing, registering, signing in or using the Service indicates that you have read and accepted these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

We may revise the terms to reflect legal or business changes and provide reasonable notice in the app. Continuing to use the Service indicates acceptance of revised terms; if you do not accept them, stop using it.

The Service

The app supports emotional reflection through mood check-ins, running records, diary writing and review, weekly trends, general-purpose AI conversation, and local backup export and import, subject to the available features.

We may update or adjust features in accordance with applicable law. Maintenance, connectivity or third-party issues may temporarily interrupt service. We make reasonable efforts to maintain continuity except as otherwise provided by law.

Pulse Plus

Pulse Plus offers monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Both provide 600 AI chat turns and 60 diary generations or chat summaries per month. Allowances reset by UTC calendar month, do not roll over, and are not granted for an entire year upfront.

Payment is charged through your Apple Account after confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel in system subscription settings; access continues through the current paid period. The purchase confirmation controls the final price and billing period.

Existing diaries, chats and generated content remain available to view and export after cancellation or expiry. Core mood recording, diary writing, running, weekly reviews, search, favorites, app lock and local backups do not require a subscription. Free includes 30 chat turns and 3 generations per month, plus 20 turns and 2 generations for first use on this device.

A chat turn consists of one sent message and one valid reply. Diary drafts and summaries share a generation allowance; regenerating uses another generation. Failed requests are not charged, and automatic retries are not charged twice.

Reference prices are CNY 18 per month or CNY 128 per year in mainland China, and $2.99 per month or $24.99 per year in the United States. Region, tax and final charges are shown in Apple's confirmation. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription. Use the original Apple Account to restore purchases. Apple handles refunds. App Store distribution is also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.

Acceptable use

You agree to follow applicable laws and public-order requirements and not use the Service to:

• Endanger national security, disclose state secrets, subvert state power, undermine national unity or harm public interests.
• Infringe intellectual property, image, privacy, reputation or other lawful rights.
• Distribute illegal, obscene, violent, discriminatory, harassing or otherwise objectionable content.
• Reverse engineer, abuse crawling, bypass technical restrictions or disrupt other users.
• Conduct unauthorized commercial marketing or abuse models and interfaces.

Violations may result in warnings, restrictions, suspension or termination as appropriate, and cooperation with lawful regulatory requirements.

Your content

Rights in content you provide, including moods, runs, diaries, conversations, nicknames and avatars, remain with you or the relevant rights holder.

You allow processing necessary to operate the features, such as local storage and display or authorized AI transmission. See the privacy policy for collection and use details.

Third parties and AI

The Service may use third-party technology, including model APIs, under their own terms and privacy policies. We explain transmission in the privacy policy. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and does not constitute professional advice.

Important limitations

The Service offers emotional recording and companionship support. It cannot replace diagnosis, treatment or crisis intervention by a qualified medical institution, clinician or counselor.

If there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, contact local emergency services or a professional crisis service and seek in-person help. You understand that you are responsible for decisions made in reliance on the Service, subject to applicable law.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by events beyond reasonable control, network failures, third parties, your device or your actions where the law does not require us to bear responsibility. The invalidity of another provision does not automatically invalidate this limitation.

Changes and termination

You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate services in accordance with law and handle affected data accordingly. Local data remains on your device unless otherwise required by law.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes should first be addressed through friendly consultation. If unresolved, they may be brought before a competent court at your place of residence when the dispute arises, subject to mandatory applicable law.
