A pulse you can start in seconds

Choose a tempo, set one to twelve beats per bar and mark the first beat with a clear accent. Tap in a tempo when you know the feel but not the number. The online tool runs locally in your browser and does not require an account.

When basic timekeeping is not enough

GuitarTool expands the metronome with subdivisions, eighth-note swing, per-beat accents, offline Chinese voice counting, custom practice presets, countdown timers and progressive tempo training. Home Screen widgets and an Apple Watch companion keep the beat close. Once watch playback starts successfully on an activated background audio route, it can continue as the wrist lowers; the foreground-only speaker fallback stops when inactive.
